get to know Steve Hartline
Steve began working at Gunter Pest and Lawn in 2008 as a Pest Professional. As our services and company grew, we branched out into offering lawn care. As our lawn care department continued to organically grow, we trained Steve as one of our lawn care division experts.
- Lawn care became a popular addition as many of our loyal customers use us for more than one service. Today, we offer bundle packages that include a 15% off discount if a customer uses us for 3-4 of our services offered: mosquito control, quarterly pest control, lawn care or termite prevention.

Gunter lawn care customers are always calling to request that Steve may be their regular service technician at their home or business for lawn care. One customer recently said word for word: “Steve cares more about my lawn than I do! He deserves a raise :).”
He is so detail-oriented and has the most photographic memory.
When our office staff calls for information about a particular account, Steve remembers details about their lawn, even if he hasn’t treated it in over a year!
One time, in particular, he went back to a home on his own time to treat a yard with a flea infestation. He really felt for the customer and wanted to ensure that they knew we cared and wanted their infestation to be eliminated.
